Venue and Location

Our courses, seminars and events take place in Spetses island, Greece

Course participants

The courses are open to musicians, music students, professional musicians, music teachers and advanced amateurs.

Lessons

International Summer Academy:

Each participant is entitled to all lectures, without any limitation.

Intuitive music and more:

The courses will take place in a group, with daily lessons of approx. 6-8 hours. Lessons can also take place in subgroups.

The course schedule is determined by Vasiliki Dimakopoulou

Concerts

Each participant of the International Summer Academy and the Intuitive Music Seminar is entitled to participation in at least one final concert. The exact concert programme will be determined by the lecturers and the course management.

All concert events are subject to pandemic developments.

Accommodation

Accommodation is included in the course fee and will be at Korgialenios and Arargyrios’ school premises.

All rooms have en-suite bathroom and each student can stay in a room unless some prefer to have a roommate, with no differentiation in the price.

Catering

Breakfast and dinner are included in the course fees, as well as coffee and refreshments during breaks.

A vegetarian meal is possible.

There will be also a Greek night with barbecue and music.

Finally, a night with drinks (one drink per person), will be offered in a club in the island.

Day Trip

As part of the Aegean Music Courses,in the fees is included a round of the island by boat, will be organised by our staff. Each student can choose to take part or, if they wish, stay and practice/relax/visit close beach

Course fee

The course fee and the services included for the individual seminars and offers can be found in the respective course description.

Reduced prices apply to some offers for students.

The registration fee must be paid at the time of registration. The course fee is to be transferred once requested by our administration. Participations who fail to pay the course fees in a timely manner may be excluded from the courses.

Should it be necessary to withdraw from the course after confirmed registration, please contact us immediately. Due to fixed contracts with our partners, unfortunately we cannot guarantee a possibility for cancellation. However, the course management will make every effort to assist participants requesting a cancellation, considering the individual circumstances. The registration fee will not be refunded, as it covers administrative costs incurred in advance. In any case, you have the right to provide a substitute participant to take your place.

The fees can be paid in three instalments with the last payment not later than the week before the courses start.

Payments shall be free of charge for the recipient. Participants’ first and last name should be given as the reference.

Exceptional circumstances

If the required minimum number of participants is not reached, or if there is any other serious reason that makes it impossible to conduct the course in the planned form, the course management reserves the right to either cancel a course or to change individual components of a course. Examples of such a case would include, but are not limited to, the serious illness of a lecturer, a serious natural or political event, a pandemic event, non-payment by participants and sponsors or an unexpected increase in prices (the list is not exhaustive). In case of cancellation of a course due to exeptional circumstances, the course fees that have already been paid will be refunded, but not the application fees (as these cover administrative costs of preparing the seminars). In the event of a major change in the course programme, all participants concerned will be consulted in advance about this change. Alternatively, in such cases, the course management has the right to organise a vote among all participants concerned, and to make changes to the course programme on the basis of this decision.

Photos and videos

Photos and videos can be taken during our courses and events. These serve to document the course as well as for public relations work, also with regards to future courses. If you do not agree to a recording or publication, please notify the course administration.

Important Statement on Sars-Cov-2

Due to the Corona Situation, the following additional terms and conditions apply to this year’s events. These do take precedence over the General Terms and Conditions.

Participation for all events is at your own risk, especially with regards to contracting an infection with Sars-Cov-2. Our organisation, will provide guidelines and advice on personal health, for the duration of the masterclass, in order to minimize the risk of an infection. However, it is your individual responsibility to look after yourself and to abide by all local rules and legislation…

If one of the following statements applies to you, unfortunately you cannot take part in the masterclass and you should notify us immediately!

You have tested positive for a Sars-Cov-2 infection and not yet been confirmed negative by a medical professional.

You have had symptoms of a Sars-Cov-2 infection within the last three weeks and not been confirmed negative by a medical professional.

You have had contact with a person infected with Sars-Cov-2, within the last three weeks, and you have not been confirmed negative by a medical professional.

You are developing symptoms of a Sars-Cov-2 infection during the masterclass, or you are in contact with a person infected with Sars-Cov-2 during the masterclass.

In this unfortunate event, our organization will try to make a full refund of the course fees. This is subject to the financial situation of our organization and will be decided by the board members. We cannot cover any additional costs (e.g. your personal flight tickets).

Furthermore, in case of changes in the pandemic situation or changes in guidelines and legislation of relevant authorities, music in resonance and European Arts Foundation e. V. reserve the right to cancel the masterclass, or to alter the course programme at short notice. In the unfortunate event of a cancellation, our organization will strive for a full refund of the entire course fee. This policy, however, is subject to European Arts Foundation in turn receiving compensation from our contractual partners and/or reimbursements by local authorities. All further liability is excluded and we cannot cover political risks or additional costs (e.g. your personal flight tickets). Thank you very much for your understanding in these unusual times.

Right of Cancellation

You may revoke your contractual declaration within 14 days without stating reasons in text form (e.g. letter, fax, e-mail)
